On Tuesday, November 12, 2013 the Clinton Valley chapter will host our November General Membership Meeting at Camp Ticonderoga off Rochester Road. The meeting will begin at 7:00PM and members are encouraged to come early to order dinner from the outstanding menu provided by the staff at Camp Ticonderoga.
Our chapter will welcome in Dr. Scott Tiegs for a great presentation titled “Ecological Connectivity, Rivers and Streams: Lessons from Salmon, Dams and Land Use”.
Dr. Tiegs is a well respected member of Oakland University’s Department of Biological Science, a board member for the Clinton River Watershed Council and an avid fly fisherman with a special love for saltwater fishing. He has also offered his scientific background for many local projects, including the Paint Creek dam removal and a thermal regime study on Paint Creek funded by the Clinton Valley chapter.
During our meeting chapter members will be able to purchase tickets for our 2013 Holiday Social which takes place on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Camp Ticonderoga. We will also have tickets available for the fall bamboo rod raffle (drawing to be held at the 2013 Holiday Social).
So come on out and join our chapter for another great night at Camp Ticonderoga!
